“Ruby” started as a very short teaser written in the summer of 2012. I’ve left it on here, but the book will be very different. Ruby has gifts that make her a very special girl, gifts that she doesn’t fully understand.
Her life seemed fairly ordinary. A college course she wasn’t enjoying, a reliable but boring boyfriend, even an old Ford Focus that sometimes let her down. Then one evening Ruby decided to forgo the usual pizza and shag with the boyfriend and spend a night at a rather seedy west end club.
Nothing in her life would be the same after that night and Ruby was on her way to the east. Not the east of romantic novels, but the east of gangsters like Jurģis. All the time Ruby is looking for Kurt, in the hope he might…………… but that would be getting ahead of ourselves.
I hope you enjoy Ruby. If her exploits are well received, there will be more Ruby adventures.
